meeting with famous Chinese calligraphy artists. The photos were taken
at a charity event where calligraphy paintings were donated to help
school children in China receive a free education. These artists are
very talented and among the most famous calligraphy artists in China.
It was an honor to meet with these famous artists and I took many
pictures of this event and personal photos with the artists
themselves.

The Finished Painting is my Chinese name "Xie
Tian Hai." I chose this name myself and it means thanks to
the sky and sea. The Xie Tian Hai paintings listed on this site were
all written by my wife, who uses my Chinese name as her artist name.
